Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, she was her co-star on "2 Broke Girls". She started dating Josh Groban after their breakup. The pair remained in love till 2016. Dennings first met Andrew W.K., a musician, in the beginning of 2021. In the course of a few months after which they started to meet and by the end of the month of May, 2020 they revealed their engagement. Dennings, a musician fan from 2014, is Dennings' first crush. Although Dennings was Jewish, she has stated that she identifies more with the religion on an ethnic as well as a cultural basis and does not make religion an active part of her life. Dennings has many activities, which include gardening, painting and reading. She had planned to attend arts school previously however, her plans were ruined by a flooding that caused the destruction of her portfolio. In the end she decided to take the experience as a warning to pursue acting. The transcendental process is her most favorite method.
