Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at time of 14. Aspen Laddd started training in kickboxing, BJJ and boxing and wrestling before making her amateur debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd was able to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first minutes. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking her revenge on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen through a unanimous decision. This left a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round by TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then moved to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Her superior wrestling abilities has smashed McGill, and she was able finish her fight in the third round through TKO (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and got her out after the second round with a TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her final bout for the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. Aspen Ladd defeated Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound victory in 2nd round. Then, in her third fight she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the initial round, and got a Performance of The Night prize. She fought her first big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters earning their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round in the UFC on ESPN 7. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The UFC Fight Night 195 fight was decided unanimously against her.
